David Helmer, Auctioneer attends Certified Auctioneers Institute

Saline, Michigan – David Helmer of Braun and Helmer Auction Service (and The Super Auction manager) recently completed his second year of courses for the highly honored National Auctioneers Association (NAA) Education Institute’s Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) designation. The CAI designation is the most respected education program in the country for exclusively for Auctioneers. The CAI program is an executive developmental program offering coursework in management skills, business ethics, finance, marketing, negotiation, and leadership. The nation’s most distinguished and respected leaders in the auction industry as well as university professors provide instruction to CAI students throughout the three year program. For over thirty years auctioneers across the USA, Canada and the world have journeyed at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana to participate in the program.

Helmer is a second generation auctioneer, past president of the Michigan State Auctioneers Association and past Bid Calling and Ringman champion. CAI is a family tradition with Helmer’s father Jerry Helmer earning his CAI in 1981. David is on track to complete his third and final year and earn his CAI designation in 2010.
